I am a psychologist specializing in relationships, striving to help you feel freer and more connected to yourself and others. Through empathy and compassion, I work to create the safety necessary to directly explore what motivates your behavior and blocks you from your goals. I will help you to connect with your inner resources and deepen self-understanding to be able to find greater intimacy in your relationships.

In my work with couples, I help partners identify and break their negative cycles that get in the way of intimacy. I take a practical and collaborative approach that will help you and your partner reconnect and expand possibilities in your relationship.

Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, I have lived in New York City for over a decade. I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University and a BFA in film and television from New York University. I trained at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, Ackerman Institute for the Family, Center for the Intensive Treatment of Personality Disorders, Brooklyn VA, and Beth Israel hospital. I work from a psychodynamic and attachment based perspective and received training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am the co-founder of LOVELINK.co, an online platform providing sex and relationship education.
